My own holistic health journey began more than 10 years ago, when I was told I would likely lose all of my hair and that it may never grow back. I wasn’t willing to simply accept that answer. I began changing my diet, focusing intentionally on nutrition, and learning everything I could about the body’s ability to heal and restore. As my health began to change and most of my hair returned, something in me changed too. I became deeply curious about why symptoms develop in the first place, why allopathic medicine doesn't look at root causes, and why two people with similar symptoms can need completely different kinds of support.
That curiosity became much more personal when I became a mom. My child began experiencing a collection of mysterious symptoms, and like so many mothers, I became determined to find answers.
